Providence Computers offers remote support services to our clients at an hourly rate of $65.00 with a minimum
charge of ½ hour (a valid credit card must be provided before support). If the technician would require
physical access to the computer to perform a service requested then remote support cannot be used. If this
is the case the technician will help you setup an apointment for on-site service or you could bring your computer
into out store location.
To determine whether or not your particular issue can be resolved by remote support please contact a technician at our
store. The steps show you how to use the remote support application and where to look for the information our
technician will be asking you for.

First you should call so that we may determine whether your problem
could potentially be solved via out remote support.

Download the client.
Step Three:
Once you have the program running on your screen by either the button above or via downloading and running
the program, our technician will be able to assist you. This is what you should see:
After you have this program on your screen you will need to click the "Show My PC Now" button, this will generate
a security access key that our technician will require in order to assist you. Once you do this you will get a screen
looking like this:
This screen indicates that you have started an active session for remote support. The four digit "Support ID" is
random and different every session, therefore we will require this code each time we connect to your computer. Keep in
mind you can terminate the connection at any time by clicking on the stop button (square button with blue square in it).
